it work a little bit but u still need to practice alot before u get it going

  2. TheRealOzzie234 says:

And you can build a swing on a strong grip like this, many have done it David Duval, and Zach Johnsson for instance. It’s NOT a “quickfix”.

  3. TheRealOzzie234 says:

This works. What you have to do in order to really get it work 100% is avoiding to make a “handshake” move (turning the left hand over left) going through the ball, since this will shut your club face early. Either this, or laterally push your hips with a little more agression. Either way works.

i only use this for my driver – and i have to say…it worked. I’m new to golf (taking lessons since April)…and this really straightened me out. – Thanks!

  5. Duboismalcolm says:

This is wonderful. The right hand naturally takes over during the downswing. No need to worry about a release. I love it!

  6. camelhopper says:

Thank you. I just tried this out on the course today and I did not slice once.

  7. dazzer24 says:

not good advice imo. the reason people slice is because they cast the club and come over the topwith their downswing. if you take a 3 to 4 knuckle strong grip and come over the top you are going to see the ball go seriously right to left.but it will start online and end up 20 yards left of the fairway-if you are lucky!
tracking the club inside on the downswing, getting your hands working from a neutral grip is the only correct cure.

I have an awful slice using any driver or woods, i will try this today and report back later. i have paid hundreds of pounds in golf lessons and not one coach looked at the grip! will let you know later

  10. SAGILAK says:

Fantastic! This worked wonders for me.

  11. mtr21 says:

If you have a nasty slice… this works great. Played it today and hit the ball a ton, and straight.

    Thanks,.

Tried this out and it works. Also added 20 yards to my shots.

  13. spurrell says:

got my laptop at the range here now. thanks for the tips!

“you know what else is uncomfortable? Seeing your ball go like this .. woha! Almost hits you in the head” lolol

  14. Hughesey09 says:

does this still work if ur grip is left hand lower on the club just make sure u see the 4 knuckles on ur right ahnd :?

  15. Citabria007 says:

Here is a permanent solution that would fix your release.

  16. Citabria007 says:

This is a quick and dirty fix. If you are slicing, you have an out to in swing or your release is not right. You need to get that fixed so you can draw the ball, with a weak grip.

But this is a good temporary fix.

  17. BrianBizzle1 says:

Wow! This Absolutely works! I didn’t even go to the range to practice with the new grip, I just tried it while playing 9 holes and it worked immediately!!!! Felt funny at first, but this is the grip I will now be using. Golf is now fun again and I am thinking about new clubs!! Thanks Crazy guy in Red Shirt!!

  18. chabaz26 says:

    try that out i guess

  19. mick03112 says:

    Whoahh!!!! lol. Good advice though.

  20. oggioggi says:

This totally works thanks, made me hook a few but once I adjusted a little my shots were going straight and very long. There I was thiinking I’d have to buy the Taylormade R9!!

is this course Sand Piper in Santa Barbara CA?

  24. themothmanreturns says:

@jkiene rIght handed as the right hand is arguably the most important in releasing the club (which would be their natural hand). i dont agree with this other chap, if you swing with your left hand you aint guna release the club, just hold it open, although the slice is created by an overactive right shoulder but not right hand.

  25. sandersuperfollador says:

such a great swing , soo longg

  26. slewofdamascus says:

That is the Gravity Golf swing, folks.

  27. kidc2004 says:

    nice drive

  28. probob97 says:

What do they feel more comfortable with. I gave a lesson to a fellow that had left handed clubs but he didn’t hit them all that well. I handed him mine(right handed) and he hit them much better. It was just a more natural fit for him. Mickelson is naturally Rt handed but grew up mirroring his father; left handed. At that age just get 2 jr sets, one of each and see which ones they prefer to hit with. You may be suprised. Good Luck

  29. dino6888 says:

Find a kids club in a 7 iron in right and left..have them swing the club with one arm only. meaning give them a right hand club and have them swing with the left arm only and vice versa. you will quickly see which side will be best for them. probably sounds diffucult but not for a kid with No Prior Swing thoughts. Even if they decide right or left is best have them swing the opposite arm more often

  30. jkiene says:

I have two son’s age 6 and 7 and thought about what club to put in their hands, right or left handed clubs….they are both right handed….thoughts.?

  31. dino6888 says:

Left hand or left arm dominate is what 95% of amatuer golfers DON”T do..They are right arm or right shlouder dominate. Which explains the HUGE slice.

  32. Zendal85 says:

So Fred, how long has it been since you’ve ah…. taken it deep?

  33. jkiene says:

Wow he really explains his swing well. He seems to be left hand dominate? And he basically leaves his lower body alone on the back swing then has to move his hips forward and out of the way of a steep swing coming down. Very nice, thx for posting

  34. garnetblack419 says:
